A quick strategy tip for Medium puzzles
Use pencil marks (the Notes button) on cells where two or three numbers still seem possible. Once a row, column or box has a number that only fits in one remaining cell, you can confidently fill it in — this "single candidate" technique solves most of a Medium puzzle on its own.
